Introduction: Advances in information technology have caused fundamental changes in life and work environments. As digital technologies such as smartphones become more ubiquitous, individuals can engage in self-monitoring and self-care and gain more control over their health trajectories across the life course. Education and gender are two important components in the use of mobile health applications. Education is effective in the amount and manner of using mobile applications, and gender plays a major role in virtual setting, especially in mobile applications, in contrast to physical presence in hospitals and clinicsMethods: This applied study was carried out with a descriptive-quantitative method in the form of a case study among users of the Snap Doctor mobile application. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire based on available random sampling and inferential statistics methods, including tests of significance and especially correlation based on confirmatory structural equationswere used. Results: Inadequate information communication technology infrastructure was the major obstacle for telemedicine, followed by cultural resistance in using technology to provide healthcare services. Other significant barriers are like this: the high cost of setting up prerequisite (initial) skills among patients, limited skills among physicians, inadequate funding to support telemedicine services, weak legal/policy framework, and lack of dedicated time for telemedicine services. Conclusion: The results showed that the existence of appropriate communication infrastructure and efforts to promote the infrastructure and increase the investment of companies and organizations in the field of telemedicine can increase the participation of users in the use of telemedicine services.

Introduction: Telemedicine is an important feature for quick access of patients to healthcare services. It seems important to understand the level of knowledge and attitude of the medical staff about telemedicine for its successful implementation. This study endeavors to determine the level of knowledge and attitude of the medical staff about telemedicine in the hospitals of Ferdows. Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted in two hospitals in Ferdows in the year 2022. The population was the medical staff. In this study, the census method was used and the research community was considered as the research sample. The data collection instrument was Rezaei et al.'s questionnaire consisting of four parts. After completing the questionnaires, the data were analyzed using descriptive methods. Results: Among the participants, 39% had moderate knowledge and 40.3% had little or very little knowledge about telemedicine, however, there was a positive attitude towards telemedicine. 26.3% of the treatment staff had used this technology, with the telephonic consultation service as the most used. Sixty eight percent stated that the critical implementation obstacle was the lack of access to high-speed and high-bandwidth internet. Conclusion: The results revealed that the level of awareness of telemedicine among medical staff is low, but their attitude is positive. Increasing the awareness of the medical staff about telemedicine can be the most effective way for its successful implementation.

Immediate access to special clinical services remotely has an important role in transferring information, informing clinical diagnosis, and distance learning. Health systems have faced with various opportunities and challenges during implementation of telemedicine. This study aimed to explore the challenges and opportunities in health systems for implementation of telemedicine. In this comprehensive review, local and international databases were searched according to a search strategy from January 2000 to January 2018. Then, an analysis was conducted on 24 selected papers. Use of telemedicine technology results in many challenges related to informational and communicational infrastructures, health, standards, laws and regulations, training, and security. Despite these challenges, significant opportunities are also presented specially in regards to pervasiveness of informational and communicational information, providing universal access to updated information, and disappearance of technology gaps through globalization, which can be suitable methods for eliminating the aforementioned challenges.

Access to the right information at the right time is a crucial ingredient of modern healthcare. Today, within health kiosks, health information can be accessed in public places. The term kiosk tends to be used for touch screen computer that is normally used standing up in public places. Health kiosk is a system with various capabilities. This is an overview article. Different scientific databases were searched to identify articles published during the period of 1995 to 2013. The information is also gathered from personal observation and oral interview in Tehran. Health kiosks can be utilized for self-management of chronic diseases, reduce health disparities, better outreach of healthcare services and can be a cost effective way to improve delivery of healthcare services. A search performed on health kiosks in Tehran shows a significant difference in a structure and use of it with global ones. One of the main reason is that theses kiosk are independent from ministry of health and medical education. Several variables such as health literacy, lack of culturally adaptive health information and limited availability of tailored health material are some of the existing barriers to greater adoption of health technologies and their impact in the improvement of health outcomes.

Over the last decade telemedicine services particularly in dermatology domain has seen significant advances and it became as routine medical services in many parts of the world. In Iran although it is not being used in usual practice but many research projects have been conducted on this issue. The main and important point that has not yet been paid enough attention is meeting standard guidelines in telemedermatology services. Ignoring these points can result in misdiagnosis by medical specialists. The value of this matter is that important that American Telemedicine Association has suggested a comprehensive standard guideline about it. Having considered that any similar paper has not yet been published in Iran, this paper aims to conduct a comprehensive review on available resources and guidelines and published papers between 1997-2013 in Teledermatology domain such as the minimum requirements for photography in teledermatology , skin lesions photography techniques , distances, resolution, macro imaging , use of flash, compression, attention to balance between image size and the quality of images for a Teledermatology consultation service.

Introduction: Prerequisite for implementing telemedicine for providing medical services and health is its acceptance. The overall objective of this study was investigating the factors that influence the adoption of it with using ICT. Methods: method of this study was Analysing and data collection instrument was combination of Theory of Planned Behavior and the Technology Acceptance model questionnaires. The present population of the study was physicians in Isfahan hospitals and 125 of them were selected as sample with classification random sampling. The validity of the model was performed by structural equation modeling method. For data analysis used software was SPSS19 and AMOS20. Results: Results show that perceived usefulness (β= 0.54) and perceived ease (β= 0.43) was effective on attitude toward telemedicine usage. The findings also shown a positive effect of perceived usefulness (β=0.61) and perceived behavioral control (β=0.39) on people's tendency toward this type of technology While the effect of subjective norm (β=0.18) on behavioral intention had not confirmed. Conclusion: The results suggest that the technology acceptance model and theory of planned behavior can predict people intention in application of telemedicine.
