[English]
Introduction: Enterprise architecture plays an important role in aligning the required changes in the organization's business capabilities with the complex IT landscape. In the current research, the capability planning model is presented based on the Cobit 2019 organizational architecture process, which is the reference model for the governance of information technology organizational processes.
Methods:This study method was qualitative and used from Design Science Research (DSR) method, which is a structural problem solving framework. The statistical sample was made up of 47 university experts and architectural experts, knowledgeable in the field of business capabilities. The data collection method was semi-structured interview and Google form questionnaire. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistical methods and was evaluated according to the opinion of experts.
Results: Using the implementation of the capability planning model based on the Cobit organizational architecture management process in the ICT unit of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, the capability perspective, level two and level three capabilities, the plan to create and develop the identified capabilities, work projects to identify and develop the capability and Additional services were extracted.
Conclusion: The results of this research showed that the use of organizational architecture in the planning of information technology capabilities led to the identification and development of a new capability plan for "data management" and the development of a capability improvement plan in other departments, including "software systems management", "infrastructure and network management". "Management of statistics" became the second level of ICT unit.
