Abstract
Webometrics ranking, as an international ranking system, evaluates and ranks the websites of world universities twice a year with a research-based approach. This ranking began in 2004 and currently evaluates 31,000 institutions from about 200 countries. The methodology used in this ranking, along with other required data, is updated and available to the public on the Webometrics website. The best strategy to improve the ranking, increase the quality and quantity of content, and the worst strategy, which leads to a sharp drop in the ranking, is to change the domain of the institution's website. In the last ranking before this study, the rank of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in the ranking of July 2023 was in the 7th place among the medical sciences universities of the country and the 14th place among all universities. This study was conducted with the aim of increasing the position of this university in a period of one month and was implemented with the help of the webometrics committee of the university.
