This study was performed to identify access to infrastructures of information technology among the managers and executive experts of health departments in Iranian universities of medical sciences. It also tried to explore the related individual and organizational factors.Methods: This retrospective study was conducted in 2010. Using stratified systematic random sampling, 13 Iranian universities of medical sciences were selected. All available managers and executives in the vice-chancellery of health of the selected universities were interviewed and inquired using census method. A valid and reliable questionnaire was filled out to assess individual and organizational variables. The collected data was analyzed by chi-square, Mann-Whitney, Kruskal Wallis, and Fisher's exact tests and Spearman's correlation coefficient.Results: Among the 293 studied managers and executives, 288 people (98.3%) had computers in their office and 281 people (97%) had access to the Internet. While 30% of the participants were completely satisfied with the Internet speed, 46% were moderately satisfied. The automation system was available for 205 subjects (70%). Having access to the Internet was significantly related with the availability of the automation system (P ≤ 0.045). Satisfaction with the Internet speed had significant relationships with university rankings (P ≤ 0.013), having access to the automation system (P < 0.001), and age (P ≤ 0.015; r = -0.143). Moreover, 220 persons (75%) had active email accounts.Conclusion: We found a good quantity of having access to information technology. Therefore, designing and implementing interventional programs to promote the quality of the provided services seem to be necessary.Keywords: Information Technology; Computers; Internet; Universities.}, keywords = {}, title_fa = {بهره‌مندی مدیران و کارشناسان مسؤول حوزه‌ی ستادی معاونت بهداشتی دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی کشور از زیرساخت‌های فن‌آوری اطلاعاتی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: در دنیای کسب و کار فعلی، بهره‌مندی از فن‌آوری اطلاعاتی یکی از عوامل مهم توسعه و بهبود عملکرد سازمان‌ها محسوب می‌شود. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین برخورداری مدیران و کارشناسان مسؤول معاونت بهداشتی دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی کشور از فن‌آوری اطلاعاتی و ارتباط آن با عوامل فردی و سازمانی انجام گرفت. روش بررسی: این مطالعه به صورت مقطعی در بهار 1389 انجام گرفت. جامعه‌ی پژوهش، مدیران و کارشناسان مسؤول حوزه‌ی ستادی معاونت بهداشتی دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی کشور بودند که 13 دانشگاه به صورت طبقه‌ای و تصادفی منظم انتخاب شدند. در دانشگاه‌های منتخب، کلیه‌ی مدیران و کارشناسان مسؤول در دسترس به عنوان نمونه‌ی پژوهش، به صورت سرشماری مورد مصاحبه و پرسش‌گری قرار گرفتند. پرسش‌نامه‌ی مورد استفاده شامل متغیرهای فردی و سازمانی بود که روایی و پایایی آن مورد تأیید قرار گرفت. در تجزیه و تحلیل یافته‌ها از آزمون‌های Chi-square، Fisher's Exact، Spearman، Krukal Wallis و Mann-Whitney استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: از بین 293 مدیر و کارشناس مسؤول مورد مطالعه، 288 نفر (3/98 درصد) در اطاق کار خود به کامپیوتر سالم و 281 نفر (97 درصد) به اینترنت دسترسی داشتند که میزان رضایت از سرعت اینترنت 30 درصد در سطح زیاد و 46 درصد در سطح متوسط بوده است. 205 نفر (70 درصد) از سیستم اتوماسیون برخوردار بودند. دسترسی به اینترنت با برخورداری از سیستم اتوماسیون رابطه‌ی معنی‌دار داشت (045/0 ≥ P). سطح رضایت از سرعت اینترنت فقط با تیپ‌بندی دانشگاه‌ها (013/0 ≥ P)، برخورداری از سیستم اتوماسیون (000/0 ≥ P) و سن افراد (143/0- = R، 015/0 = P) رابطه‌ی معنی‌دار داشت. 220 نفر (75 درصد) دارای پست الکترونیک فعال بودند. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به کمیت بسیار خوب برخورداری از فن‌آوری اطلاعاتی، پیشنهاد می‌گردد برای تقویت و توسعه‌ی کیفی آن، برنامه‌های مداخله‌ای طراحی و اجرا شود. واژه‌های کلیدی: تکنولوژی اطلاعات؛ رایانه‌ها؛ اینترنت؛ دانشگاه‌ها.}, keywords_fa = {}, url = {https://him.mui.ac.ir/article_11155.html}, eprint = {https://him.mui.ac.ir/article_11155_e2244c0120be656ffe12221b573e856a.pdf} }
