This study endeavored to determine the effects of Covid-19 on dependence on virtual networks and the quality of social relations of librarians.<br /><strong>Methods:</strong> The study was a survey type. The population was the librarians of the public libraries of the Markazi province, and due to the limited population, the census method was used (174 individuals). Data were collected using questionnaires of Internet addiction, social relations, and social effects of Covid-19. The gathered data were analyzed through Correlation Coefficient & One-way ANOVA tests.<br /><strong>Results:</strong> There is a significant negative relationship between virtual networks and social relations among the librarians of public libraries in Markazi Province, and the moderating role of Covid-19 in the relationship between virtual networks and social relations.<br /><strong>Conclusion:</strong> The prevalence of Covid-19 can incur social costs to librarians, who are active in Cyberspace and in providing public services; reduce their commitment to family, job, and friends. Therefore, knowing the consequences of dependence on virtual networks can keep individuals and their families from harm. <strong>مقدمه:</strong> یکی از عوارض کووید-19بحران اجتماعی استفاده افراطی از شبکه‌های مجازی است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین نقش کووید-19 بر وابستگی به شبکه‌های مجازی و کیفیت روابط اجتماعی کتابداران انجام شد.<br /><strong>روش بررسی:</strong> پژوهش حاضر از نوع پیمایشی و جامعه آماری کتابداران کتابخانه‌‌های عمومی استان مرکزی بودند که باتوجه به محدود بودن جامعه، از روش سرشماری استفاده شد (174 نفر). داده‌‌ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه‌‌های اعتیاد به اینترنت، روابط اجتماعی و اثرات اجتماعی کووید-19 جمع‌‌آوری شد، سپس با استفاده از آزمون‌‌های Correlation Coefficient & One-way ANOVA تحلیل شدند.<br /><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> بین شبکه‌های مجازی و روابط اجتماعی در بین کتابداران کتابخانه‌‌های عمومی استان مرکزی رابطه منفی معنی‌‌داری وجود دارد و شیوع کووید-19در رابطه بین شبکه‌های مجازی و روابط اجتماعی نقش تعدیل‌‌گر دارد.<br /><strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> شیوع کووید-19 با عاملیت شبکه‌های مجازی می‌‌تواند کتابداران را که در بستر اینترنت فعال و خدمات عمومی ارائه می‌دهند، متحمل هزینه‌‌های اجتماعی؛ کاهش تعهد فرد نسبت به‌‌خانواده، شغل و دوستان نماید. بنابراین آگاهی از عواقب وابستگی به شبکه‌های مجازی می‌‌تواند فرد و خانواده را از آسیب‌‌ها احتمالی دور نگه دارد. https://him.mui.ac.ir/article_26200_e5b5b8d9882f4831304d99c39e49da4f.pdf
