The Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale-21 items (DASS-21) was completed by participants. Among the women who had a stress, anxiety, and depression score of higher than the normal (score of 7), 30 were selected and then randomly divided into two groups of 15 (experimental and control). The experimental group, received educations for 8 weeks, and then the questionnaire was implemented in both groups. Results: Group therapy significantly reduced depression, stress, and anxiety in women referring to Shiraz Municipality Cultural Center. Conclusion: Librarians and psychologists together with the use of bibliotherapy techniques can be used not only to treat depression, stress and anxiety, but also to treat other diseases.

Introduction: Due to the high prevalence of depression and the considerable pressure it puts on individuals, society and healthcare system, it is essential to conduct sufficient research to help with decision making in prevention, treatment and control of this condition. To assist with research planning and setting priorities, this paper aimed to identify the thematic structure of papers related to depression treatment. Methods: This was an applied research study which used Scientometrics approach. To obtain data, the keyword “Depression” was searched as a mesh descriptor with the subdivision “Therapy” in PubMed database for the period of 2005 to 2014. The data were analyzed using co-word and clustering methods with the help of Excel and SPSS software packages. Results: The growth of scientific production in this field appeared to have been balanced throughout the ten-year period examined in the study. The most active research areas for the two five year periods (2005-2009 and 2010-2014) were drug therapy, psychology, and medication adherence. Two hierarchical graphs of descriptors for each five-year period were prepared both of which were composed of 12 clusters with 34 common descriptors. Conclusion: The findings based on the inclusion index showed that only 20 percent of topics in the second five-year period of the study were novel. Therefore, it could be concluded that research areas that were related with each other in previous years will probably co-occur with other topics in the future might disappear. In every discipline, some topics are considered to be fundamental and research works are being carried out on them almost every year.

Introduction: Lack of mental health and living skills are one of reason of human resource management hazards in any organization. These two variables are necessary as communication ability for problem solving in living problems. Each student needs these two factors for collaborating in work or study environments. The purpose of this research is to survey of mental health and living skills and relation between them in students of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Methods: Research type was analytical and cross-sectional study. Survey population was all students of seven faculty of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. As Morgan sampling table 384 students were selected as sample at 2010. Data was collected by two questionnaires. The first one was made by researcher for living skills and in other one Gold Berge's questionnaire was used for mental health. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS16. Data validity by experts and data reliability by SPSS16 and Cronbach’s alpha (R>80%) was confirmed. Results: The highest health mental mean score belonged to medical college students with (84.71 ±10.54) and the lowest health mental mean score belonged to students of rehabilitation college with (72.92 ±13.03). The highest living skills mean score belonged to management and medical informatics college students with (71.64±5.16) and the lowest living skills mean score belonged to students of Pharmacology College with (69.38±7.04). Differences between two variables (Living Skills and Health Mental) were significant. Living skills variable according to student subjects and mental health according to faculties and sex had significant differences. These tow variables had no significant according to other demographic variable as study qualification, father's job and the number of family members. Conclusion: These tow variable score were almost upper than 70 and it was good for this time. But results of this research and similar researches show that these student's living skills and mental health need more promotion. So the living skills or mental health lesson is suggested in some suitable subject of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Key Words: Mental Health; Anxiety; College Students; Desperation

Introduction: Breast cancer is considered as the most common as well as most effectivemalignancy in adult female population. It leads to deep psychological and emotional problems such as depression. Although findings of numerous studies revealed a significant relation between spiritual well-being and depression in cancer patients, some reasons such as paradoxical findings in foreign researches and absence of such a study in Iran encouraged us to design and perform a study to survey the relationship between spiritual well-being and depression in patients with breast cancer who referred to a cancer treatment center in Isfahan, Iran during 2011.Methods: In this analytic study, 223 hospitalized breast cancer patients were selected by simple random sampling. The DASS-42 Inventory and the Spiritual Well-Being Scale were applied to measure depression and spiritual well-being, respectively. Data was analyzed in SPSS18 using statistical methods including independent t-test, Spearman and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: A total number of 223 patients with mean age of 48.6 ± 1.07 years participated in this study. Mean scores of religious aspect and existential aspect of spiritual well-being were 52.25 ± 7.08 and 42.87 ± 9.31, respectively. Mean total score of spiritual well-being was 94.87 ± 14.99. Mean depression score was 12.24 ± 9.58. There was a statistically significant relationship between depression in patients with both existential (P = 0.001; r = -22) and religious (P = 0.001; r = -48) aspects of spiritual well-being. Depression and total score of spiritual well-being were also significantly associated (P < 0.001; r = -41). Conclusion: Our findings showed that patients with higher mean scores of spiritual well-being were less depressed. Therefore, in cases of refractory diseases such as cancer that affect the body, mind and spirit of patients, nurses could apply a holistic care approach with emphasis on spiritual approach to improve mental health and quality of life.
