Abstract

Introduction :Patient rights tasks in a treatment center is responsible for the patient and informed consent, freely revocable consent of qualified person (patient) based on participation in decision making followed knowledge about the nature, purpose and consequences of belief the effect of participation in the selection of treatment is effective and useful., this study aims to investigate the extent of informed consent obtained from the patients admitted to selected hospitals in Shiraz city in 1392 was solar. Methods: The study was cross-sectional analysis that has been done. Method of data collection for the study, library, electronic resources and Internet and based Made questionnaire was developed. To determine the scientific validity of the questionnaire was used content validity for this purpose, a questionnaire among a number of scholars and experts specializing in the field of health information management and statistics distribution were enjoying their comments and guidance, the content of the questionnaire was the ambiguities were resolved to confirm its validity. To calculate the trustworthiness, or reliability of Cronbach's alpha for the questionnaire was used. Therefore the initial questionnaire before the main phase of the study, 20 patients were randomly distributed and collected data using a questionnaire to determine the level of reliability of software SPSS, assessed and evaluated. Analytics data Analysis descriptive statistics (percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation) was performed.   Results: Findings from this study indicate that the low level of knowledge about the patient's knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of other methods of treatment, as in private hospitals is   in average 38/2 SD 659/1and the public hospital averages 65/2, SD 363/1 and  The highest level related to ensures the confidence patient to their doctor , so private hospital an average of 78/4 and SD 519/0 and the public hospital an average of 42/4 and SD 037/1. well as patient satisfaction scores by age, education level and type of  hospitalized in all hospital(namazi and private hospitals) showed significant differences.   Conclusion :The results represent the average state of being conscious consent obtained from patients at selected hospitals in Shiraz city. It also became clear that the process of informed consent should be based on the condition of  time, location and  changes must  be based on education level the patient .
