Health librarians, due to the nature of their work, the diversity of users' requests and the diversity of their information needs, along with the possible challenges ahead, it is necessary to benefit from artificial intelligence literacy more than before and be leaders in this field. In this regard, some researchers have proposed a model for artificial intelligence literacy, which consists of three foundations of functional literacy, social literacy and technological literacy. The main purpose of functional literacy is education. It means that he can teach in the library and receive training for his growth and development. As societies become more complex and information needs change more and more and information sources become more diverse, reading and writing need the ability to understand society beyond just decoding text. In this way, the need to have social literacy shows itself with a critical understanding of social phenomena. In modern society, the ability to use technology has become a basic ability required for communication. In fact, health librarians should have the ability to accept and use technology and accept what is popular in the society, learn and use it in order to provide services. As such, increasing and strengthening artificial intelligence literacy for health librarians is a very important effort to ensure the success of future libraries. Libraries that will be challenged by the emergence of artificial intelligence, low-quality service provision, and the abilities of their librarians.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of nutritional health literacy among people with abdominal obesity who were referred to nutrition clinics. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 317 patients with abdominal obesity who had visited nutrition clinics in Bushehr in 2012. The data were collected using a stratified sampling method proportional to the volume. The Nutritional Health Literacy Questionnaire (EINLA) was employed for data collection. The data were analyzed using the statistical software package SPSS version 24, with the use of the independent t-test, chi-square test, analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation.Findings: The mean score for the total nutritional literacy level was 17.94 ± 2.29. The participants in the study were divided into two groups based on their nutritional status: adequate and insufficient. It was found that 87.1% of individuals with abdominal obesity had adequate nutrition, while only 12.9% demonstrated insufficient nutrition. Conclusion: The majority of individuals with abdominal obesity in Bushehr demonstrated adequate nutritional health literacy. However, in the three skill sections of determining food units, calculations, and reading labels, it is essential to consider these factors when developing a plan.Key words: abdominal obesity, nutritional health literacy, BushehrKey message: The principal message is as follows: In light of the pervasive prevalence of abdominal obesity and the attendant negative consequences and diseases, it is imperative that individuals endeavor to enhance their awareness and obtain accurate and pertinent information.

Introduction: Due to the increase in the use of scientific texts and databases, the need of students and professors to search for articles and journals is essential. Considering the expansion of the use of mobile phones and its advantages, this study was conducted with the aim of designing and evaluating a mobile application for comprehensive and offline search in databases of medical sciences. Methods: The current research was applied-developmental and piloted in preparatory region 7 (including scientific articles of Isfahan, Kashan, Shahrekord and Yazd universities of medical sciences) and in Scopus, Web of Science and PubMed databases. In order to determine the requirements of the application, a checklist was prepared using the relevant texts and 11 medical librarians and informatics specialists, 4 health information management specialists and 8 library staff were surveyed. After designing the application with offline search capability, usability evaluation was done using standard QUIS questionnaire by 235 faculty members, 380 students and 32 librarians. Results: The application database included 10 fields for articles and 15 fields for journals. The results showed that the evaluation of usability according to the QUIS questionnaire for faculty members, students and librarians was 8.22, 7.88 and 8.08 respectively and at a good level. Conclusion: According to the opinion of the users, it is expected that the design of the application program will facilitate and improve the search in research backgrounds and by conducting a search, comprehensive results can be obtained.

**Introduction:** Early detection of COVID-19 plays a crucial role in reducing mortality. With its ability to analyze large volumes of medical data, artificial intelligence (AI) can aid in the rapid and accurate diagnosis of this disease. This review study aims to assess the performance of AI models in detecting COVID-19.**Methods:** A systematic search was conducted in the PubMed, Scopus, and WOS databases, yielding 143 relevant articles. The studies were analyzed based on the type of input data, algorithms used, performance evaluation metrics, the presentation of clinical rules, and the clinical validation of the models. Additionally, 451 review and meta-analysis articles were examined to determine the extent to which these algorithms have been integrated into clinical guidelines.**Results:** The input data in the articles consisted of clinical records, medical images, and audio processing. More than 96% of the algorithms were found to be black-box models, lacking clinical validation by specialists. However, the average performance of these models was reported to be above 90%. The review of meta-analysis articles revealed that none of the algorithms had undergone formal clinical evaluation; only their performance on available data was assessed.**Conclusion:** The review of studies shows that AI performs well in COVID-19 detection but faces limitations, including lack of explainability, reliance on training data, and the absence of extensive clinical evaluations. The development of white-box models and conducting broad clinical studies are crucial for ensuring the widespread acceptance of these algorithms in clinical settings.

Objective: This study examines the relationship between health literacy and health-promoting behaviors among female employees in public libraries in Khuzestan.Method: This is a cross-sectional study conducted in 2024 using a survey method. The statistical population consisted of 120 female employees in public libraries in Khuzestan, selected through stratified random sampling, and questionnaires were randomly distributed among them. Ultimately, 86 questionnaires were analyzed. The data collection tools were health literacy and health-promoting behavior questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 24 and descriptive statistics and multiple regression tests.Findings: The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between health literacy and health-promoting behaviors (nutrition, exercise, responsibility, and interpersonal support), but no significant relationship was found between health literacy and the components of self-actualization and stress management. Regression analysis showed that 57% of the changes in health-promoting behaviors were explained by health literacy (R² = 0.57, F = 82.20, P < 0.01).Conclusion: Women with higher health literacy make better decisions regarding their health. Female employees in public libraries, given their professional and family responsibilities, need more awareness in the area of health to effectively care for their physical and mental well-being.
