چکیده
دسترسی سریع کاربران به اطلاعات سلامت معتبر و روزامد و همچنین، قابلیت‌های کتابداران و اطلاعﺭﺳﺎنان پزشکی، حضور آن‌ها را در عرصه‌های مختلف سلامت ضروری ساخته است. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، شناسایی نقش‌ها و خدمات نوین کتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشکی در عرصه سلامت بود. روش این پژوهش به صورت مروری روایتی بود. جستجو در سال‌های 1393 و 1395 در بازه زمانی سال‌های 2002 تا 2016 در پایگاهﻫﺎی اطلاعاتی Magiran، Noormags، SID، PubMed، Science Direct، Emerald، Eric، LISA و Web of Science (این پایگاه‌ها جزء پایگاه‌های اصلی حوزه کتابداری و اطلاع‌رسانی پزشکی می‌باشند) با استفاده از کلید واژهﻫﺎیی مانند «اطلاعﺭسانی پزشکی، کتابداری و اطلاعﺭسانی پزشکی، کتابدار بالینی، کتابدار بیمارستانی، نقش‌ها، خدمات و...» و نیز واژه‌های مرتبط صورت گرفت. پس از مطالعه و ارزیابی محتوایی مقالات، نقش‌ها و خدمات جدید کتابداران پزشکی شناسایی گردید. یافته‌ها نشان داد که حوزه فعالیت کتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشکی فراتر از کتابخانه‌ها است و با توجه به دارا بودن توانایی‌ها و قابلیت‌های فراوان، قادر هستند تا در حیطه‌های مختلف سلامت به ارایه خدماتی مانند آموزش سواد رسانه‌ای، سواد اطلاعاتی، سواد سلامت، اطلاع‌سنجی سلامت، اطلاع‌رسانی سلامت، خدمات بالینی، پژوهش‌یاری سلامت و طراحی و توسعه نظام‌های بازیابی اطلاعات سلامت بپردازند. کتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشکی باید در قالب نقش‌ها و خدمات جدید، رضایت بیماران و خانواده آن‌ها، کادر درمان و دانشجویان و اعضای هیأت علمی را در زمینه اطلاعات سلامت، برآورده سازند.

Access to valid and new health information as well as capabilities of medical librarians has highlighted their presence in various areas of health. The aim of the present study was to identify the new roles and services of medical librarians in the field of health. This narrative review was conducted in 2014-2016. The Data was collected through studying the articles published on information databases like Magiran, SID, Noormags, PubMed, Science Direct, Emerald, and Web of Science during the past 15 years (2002 to 2016). The keywords used in this search included "medical librarian", "medical librarianship", "clinical librarian", "roles", "services", and other similar keywords. The new roles and services of librarians were identified after studying and evaluating the contents of the articles. The results showed that the areas of medical librarians’ activities go beyond libraries and according to their abilities and capabilities, they can offer their new services such as media literacy, information literacy, health literacy, health scientometrics, health information services, clinical services, health research services, and design and development of health information retrieval systems. In framework of their new roles and activities, medical librarians should satisfy patients and their families, medical staff, and students and faculty members in the field of health information.
