چکیده
مقدمه: تجزیه و تحلیل استناد در پروانه‌های ثبت اختراع به پژوهشهای علمی و مجلات، یکی از روشهای موجود برای اندازهگیری رابطه بین علم و فن‌آ‌‌وری محسوب می‌شود. از این‌رو، پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین میزان استناد به مجلات انگلیسی زبان ایرانی زیر نظر وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی در پروانه‌های ثبت اختراع موجود در پایگاه ثبت اختراع و علایم تجاری آمریکا USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) صورت گرفت.روش بررسی: این مطالعه به روش توصیفی و با رویکرد علم‌سنجی انجام شد. جامعه تحقیق متشکل از 268 مجله انگلیسی زبان زیر نظر وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی ایران بود که عناوین آن‌ها در USPTO مورد جستجو قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: در مجموع، فقط به 49 مورد از مجلات وزارت بهداشت استناد شده بود که تعداد پروانه‌های ثبت اختراع استنادکننده، 207 مورد بود. مجله Advanced Pharmaceutical Bulletin بیشترین استناد را از سوی پروانه‌های ثبت اختراع دریافت کرده بود. 65 درصد از پروانه‌های ثبت اختراع استنادکننده به مجلات وزارت بهداشت، در رده اصلی A یعنی «نیازهای انسانی» قرار گرفتند. بیشتر پروانه‌های ثبت اختراع استنادکننده به مجلات وزارت بهداشت متعلق به آمریکا و مالک بیشتر آن‌ها دانشگاه استنفورد می‌باشد.نتیجه‌گیری: مجلات انگلیسی زبان ایرانی با بهرهگیری از فرایند و راهبردهای لازم طبق سیاستها و نظارت بر آن‌ها، میتوانند در سطح بینالمللی جایگاه بهتری از لحاظ وضعیت مقالات و فنآورمحور بودن داشته باشند. بنابراین، با توجه به انتشار روزافزون مقالات در کشور، باید به کیفیت آن‌ها بیشتر از کمیت توجه شود.

Introduction: Assessment of the citations to scientific researches and journals by invention patents is a way to analyze the relationship between the science and technology. The purpose of this research was to investigate citations to English-language journals approved by Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education in patents registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database.Methods: This descriptive survey was conducted based on citation analysis and scientometrics techniques. The study population included 268 English-language journals approved by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The title of each journal was used to search at the USPTO database.Results: 207 patents cited to 49 English-language journals approved by Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical. Note that 65% of patents in this group were in the class A (i.e., human necessities). Most patents citing Iranian medical journals belonged to the United States, and were assigned by Stanford University.Conclusion: Iranian journals, using the necessary processes and strategies according to their policies, can have a better internationally position in terms of article status and being technology-centered. Therefore, due to the increasing publication rate of articles in the country, their quality should be considered (focused on) more than quantity.
