مهارت‌های اطلاع‌یابی در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی پیوسته‌ی موجود در کتابخانه‌ی ملی دیجیتال پزشکی در بین رزیدنت‌های دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان

چکیده
مقدمه: مهارت‌های اطلاع‌یابی به مهارت‌های بازیابی اطلاعات، ارزیابی اطلاعات، سازماندهی اطلاعات و تبادل اطلاعات تقسیم شده است. کسانی که این مهارت‌ها را کسب کرده باشند در جستجوی مستقل اطلاعات و انجام تحقیق توانمند خواهند شد. این پژوهش به منظور تعیین مهارت‌های اطلاع‌یابی در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی پیوسته‌ی موجود در کتابخانه‌ی ملی دیجیتال پزشکی
(Iranian national medical digital library یا INLM) در بین دستیاران دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان انجام شد.
روش بررسی: این پژوهش از نوع پیمایشی بود که در سال 1389انجام شد. از بین 659 نفر از دستیاران دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان، تعداد 248 نفر با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی طبقه‌ای و با کمک جدول مورگان انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه گردآوری گردید. روایی پرسش‌نامه با نظر متخصصان تعیین شد و پایایی آن با استفاده از alpha Cronbach's، 83/0 تعیین شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و جداول توزیع فراوانی توسط نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 18تجزیه و تحلیل گردید.
یافته‌ها: بر اساس یافته‌های پژوهش، تنها 9/3 درصد از دستیاران، دوره‌ی آموزشی INLM را گذرانده‌اند و تنها 2/16 درصد از آن‌ها در INLM ثبت‌نام کرده‌اند. بیشترین میزان آشنایی آن‌ها با پایگاه Up to Date بود (3/38 درصد). بیشترین میزان استفاده‌ی آن‌ها نیز از همین پایگاه بود (8/25 درصد). آن‌ها بیشتر از جستجوی پیشرفته استفاده می‌کردند (4/48 درصد) و بیشتر از فیلدهای زبان و زمان برای محدود کردن جستجو استفاده می‌کردند. 2/49 درصد از آن‌ها از عملکرهای منطقی استفاده می‌کردند. تنها 3/13 درصد آن‌ها با امکانات پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی برای مدیریت نتایج جستجو آشنا بودند و تنها 5/5 درصد آن‌ها همیشه به ارزیابی صحت و دقت اطلاعات بازیابی شده می‌پرداختند.
نتیجه‌گیری: میزان آشنایی و استفاده‌ی دستیاران از پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی بسیار کم بود. برگزاری کارگاه‌های سواد اطلاعاتی و کارگاه‌های استفاده از پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی می‌تواند نقش مهمی در افزایش استفاده از پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی و کارهای پژوهشی آن‌ها داشته باشد.

چکیده English

Introduction: Information seeking skills has an important role in independent searching and enables one
to have a strong research. The aim of this study was to investigate information seeking skills among the
residents of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran.
Methods: It was a descriptive study. Morgan sampling table used to select 248 residents from 659
residents of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. The data were collected using a researcher-made
questionnaire which was validated by expert and its reliability was tested with Cronbach’s alpha (0.83).
Results: Only 3.9% of the residents attended in Iranian National Medical Digital Library (INLM)
workshop and only 16.2% of them were registered to INLM. 38.3% of them were familiar with up-to-date
database and 25.8% of them used it. 48.4% of them used "advanced search". 49.2% of them used "bullion
operations" and only 13.3% of them were familiar with databases’ facilities to manage their search results.
Only 5.5% of them always evaluated the retrieved information.
Conclusion: Information seeking skills of residents was very low. Attending in workshops on database
and information literacy can help them to improve their skills and have better research.
