نقش نیاز به خاتمه در پیش بینی رفتار جستجوی اطلاعات سلامت بیماران مبتلا به سرطان و خانواده ی آنان

چکیده
مقدّمه: مطالعه‌ی رفتار جستجوی اطلاعات سلامت، به منظور توانایی افراد در مدیریت سلامت خود ارزشمند است؛ بر این اساس، هدف پژوهش حاضر شناخت نقش نیاز به خاتمه در جستجوی اطلاعات سلامت بیمارانِ مبتلا به سرطان بود.

روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر، به لحاظ ماهیّت داده‌ها پژوهش کمّی، به لحاظ هدف پژوهش بنیادی و به لحاظ گردآوری داده‌ها پژوهش توصیفی-همبستگی بود. جامعه‌ی آماری پژوهش، دانشجویانی از دانشگاه شیراز بود که خود یا خانواده‌ی آنان سابقه‌ی ابتلا به بیماری سرطان داشتند. بر اساس هدف پژوهش، از رویکرد نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و روش نمونه‌گیری گلوله‌برفی یا زنجیره‌ای استفاده شد. حجم نمونه‌‌ با استفاده از نرم‌افزار جی‌‌پاور 212 نفر به‌دست آمد. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها، پرسشنامه‌ی نلیسن و همکاران (2015) و پرسشنامه‌ی طرّاحی‌شده توسط وبستر و کروگلانسکی (1994) و ویرایش و خلاصه‌‌شده توسط روتس و هیل (2011) بود. داده‌های گردآوری‌شده، از طریق آزمون‌های همبستگی پیرسون و رگرسیون ساده و با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اس.پی.اس.اس. نسخه‌ی 23 تجزیه‌وتحلیل شد.

یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش نشان داد که بین نیاز به خاتمه و جستجوی اطلاعات سلامت رابطه‌ی مثبت و معنی‌داری وجود داشت؛ علاوه‌بر آن، نتایج آزمون رگرسیون ساده نشان داد که نیاز به خاتمه پیش‌بینی‌کننده‌ی مثبت و معنی‌دارِ جستجوی اطلاعات سلامت بود.

نتیجه‌گیری: پیشنهاد می‌شود که در سیاستگذاری‌ها و در ارائه‌ی خدمات به بیماران مبتلا به سرطان، به نقش نیاز به خاتمه در جستجوی اطلاعات سلامت توجّه شود و اقداماتی از قبیل برگزاری دوره‌های آموزشی سواد اطلاعات سلامت برای متخصصان مراقبت‌های بهداشتی و بیماران مبتلا به سرطان نیز برنامه‌ریزی شود.

The Role of Need for Closure in Health Information Seeking among Cancer Patients and Their Families

Introduction: The study of health information seeking behavior is valuable. Based on this, the aim of the present study was to understand the role of the need for closure in the health information seeking of cancer patients.

Methods: The current research was a quantitative research in terms of the nature of the data, a fundamental research in terms of the purpose of the research, and a descriptive-correlation research in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the research was students from Shiraz University who themselves or their families had a history of cancer. Based on the purpose of the research, the targeted sampling approach and the snowball or chain sampling method used. The sample size was 212 people using J*Power software. The data collection tool was the questionnaire of Nellisen et al. (2015) and the questionnaire designed by Webster and Kruglanski (1994) and edited and summarized by Roots and Hill (2011). The collected data analyzed through Pearson’s correlation and simple regression tests using SPSS software version 23 analyzed.

Results: The research findings showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the need for closure and health information seeking; In addition, the results of the simple regression test showed that the need for closure was a positive and significant predictor of health information seeking.

Conclusion: It is suggested to pay attention to the role of the need for closure in the health information seeking, and actions such as holding health information literacy training courses should also be planned.
