چکیده
مقدمه: حضور بیماران دیابتی در شبکه‌های اجتماعی سبب می‌شود تا آنان نوعی حمایت اجتماعی را ادراک نمایند و این حمایت نقش مهمی در دانش‌بیماری آنان ایفا می‌کند. از این رو، هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی تاثیر حمایت اجتماعی درک شده از شبکه‌های اجتماعی بر دانش دیابتی بیماران‌ مبتلا به دیابت نوع دو است.

روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر از نظر روش پیمایشی و کاربردی است. جامعه آماری پژوهش را بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 مراجعه-کننده به کلینیک تخصصی دیابت ایران شهر مشهد، تشکیل دادند که 170 نفر به عنوان نمونه تعیین شد. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات پرسشنامه‌ای محقق ساخته بر مبنای پژوهش‌های پیشین بود که پایایی آن از طریق آزمون آلفای کرونباخ و روایی از طریق روایی همگرا و روایی واگرا مورد تأیید قرار گرفت. تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از شاخص‌های آمار توصیفی، آمار استباطی و روش مدلسازی معادلات ساختاری انجام شد.

یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد که حمایت اجتماعی ادراک شده از شبکه‌های اجتماعی بر دانش دیابتی بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 تاثیر مثبت و معناداری دارد و با افزایش حمایت اجتماعی ادراک شده دانش دیابتی بیماران نیز افزایش می‌یابد. همچنین، مشخص شد که 9/25 درصد از تغییرات "دانش دیابتی " از طریق حمایت اجتماعی ادراک شده از شبکه‌های اجتماعی توضیح داده شده است که سهم قابل توجهی محسوب می‌گردد.

نتیجه‌گیری: شبکه‌های اجتماعی بستری را برای ارائه حمایت اجتماعی به دو شکل حمایت اطلاعاتی، و حمایت عاطفی فراهم می-کنند. این دو حمایت مستتر در شبکه‌های اجتماعی، می‌توانند بیماران را در مدیریت بهتر بیماری و افزایش آگاهی و اطلاعات خود یاری کنند.

The Impact of Social Perceived Support from Social Networks on Diabetes Knowledge in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract

Introduction: The presence of diabetic patients in social networks allows them to perceive a form of social support, which plays a significant role in managing chronic diseases, including diabetes. Therefore, this study aims to examine the impact of perceived social support from social networks on the diabetes knowledge of diabetic patients.

Methods: This research is a survey-based and applied study. The statistical population consisted of type 2 diabetes patients visiting the Iran Diabetes Specialty Clinic in Mashhad, with a sample size of 170 participants. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire based on previous studies, the reliability of which was confirmed by Cronbach’s alpha, and its validity was established through convergent and discriminant validity. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and structural equation modeling (SEM).

Results: The findings indicated that perceived social support from social networks has a significant positive effect on the diabetes knowledge of type 2 diabetic patients. As perceived social support increases, patients' diabetes knowledge also improves. Additionally, it was found that 25.9% of the variations in "diabetes knowledge" were explained by perceived social support from social networks, which is a considerable contribution.

Conclusion: Social networks provide a platform for delivering social support in two forms: informational support and emotional support. These two types of embedded support in social networks can assist patients in better disease management and enhancing their awareness and knowledge.
