چکیده

مقدمه: با توجه به نقش آموزش بیمار و خانواده در فرایند مراقبت بیمار، کمیسیون مشترک اعتباربخشی مراکز بهداشتی و درمانی آمریکا در برنامه اعتباربخشی بیمارستانی خود، استانداردهای آموزش بیمار و خانواده را تدوین کرده است. از طرفی تحقیقات انجام شده حاکی است که استانداردهای بیمارستانی وزارت بهداشت ایران چندان کامل و جامع نیست. با این اوصاف با انجام یک مطالعه توصیفی– تطبیقی بر آن شدیم تا از وضعیت استانداردهای آموزش بیمار و خانواده وزارت بهداشت آگاه شویم. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه توصیفی – تطبیقی در سال 1386 استانداردهای بیمارستانی (فرم استاندارد اجرایی ارزشیابی شماره ب) مربوط به آموزش بیمار وزارت بهداشت ایران (4 گزاره) با استانداردهای آموزش بیمار و خانواده کمیسیون مشترک اعتباربخشی مراکز بهداشتی – درمانی آمریکا (کمیسیون مشترک) (10 گزاره) مقایسه شد. روش گردآوری داده‌ها، استفاده از اطلاعات موجود و ابزار مورد استفاده چک لیستی بود که بر اساس استانداردهای آموزش بیمار و خانواده کمیسیون مشترک تهیه شد. تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از جداول تطبیقی و روش‌های آمار توصیفی انجام گرفت. یافته‌ها: میزان تطابق استانداردهای بیمارستانی وزارت بهداشت با استانداردهای آموزش بیمار و خانواده کمیسیون مشترک به میزان 40 درصد تطابق نسبی و 60 درصد عدم تطابق بود.نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به یافته‌‌های این مطالعه، می‌‌توان گفت که آموزش بیمار و خانواده هیچ جایگاهی در استانداردهای بیمارستانی وزارت بهداشت ندارد. بنابراین تدوین استانداردهای آموزش بیمار و خانواده باید مورد توجه قرار گیرد.واژه‌های کلیدی: استانداردهای مرجع؛ آموزش بیماران؛ بهداشت و تندرستی.

A Comparative Study of the Iran Ministry of Health Patient and Family Education Standards with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

چکیده [English]

Introduction: According to role of patient and family education in the process of patient care, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) has considered the patient and family education standards in the hospital accreditation program; on the otherwise conducted researches show that the Iran Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) hospital standards are not complete. We conducted this study to be aware of MOHME patient and family education standards. Methods: In this descriptive - comparative study the joint commission patient and family education standards (10 statements) were compared with hospital standards of Iran Health Ministry (4 statements). Using available information through internet, e-mail and referrals to related references was the method of data gathering. Data gathering was carried out through checklist, on the basis of patient and family education standards. Data analysis was done through descriptive statistical methods. Results: The comparative rate of the Health Ministry’s hospital standards with joint commission patient and family education standards were 0% completely, 40 % partially and 60 % with out adaptability. Conclusion: Findings showed that there was a gap in Iran Ministry of Health and Medical Education hospital standards for patient and family education. Then compiling of patient and family education standards is essential.Keywords: Reference Standards; Patient Education; Health.
