چکیده

چکیدهیکی از مهم‌ترین روش‌‌های کمی و حوزه‌های پژوهشی در کتابداری و علم اطلاعات، حوزه‌ی علم‌سنجی و اطلاع‌سنجی است که در چهار دهه‌ی اخیر رشد فزاینده‌ای یافته است، به طوری که مطالعه در هر یک از مقوله‌های آن مستلزم بررسی نوشتارها و پژوهش‌های زیادی است. امروزه علم‌سنجی در توصیف، تبیین و پیش‌بینی وضعیت علمی پژوهشگران، گروه‌های آموزشی و پژوهشی، دانشگاه‌ها، سازمان‌ها و کشورها در عرصه‌های گوناگون ملی و بین‌المللی کاربردهای فراوانی یافته است. اگر چه موفقیت‌های بسیاری در این حوزه به دست آمده است، اما موانع و دشواری‌های چالش ‌برانگیز زیادی نیز فراروی پژوهشگران حوزه‌ی مذکور قرار دارد.چالش‌های پیش روی حوزه‌ی علم‌سنجی با رویکردهای مختلف قابل بررسی است. در این مقاله، به روش کتابخانه‌ای و با رویکردی جامع و انتقادی، جنبه‌های مثبت و منفی مطالعات مربوط به حوزه‌ی علم‌سنجی با نگاهی موشکافانه مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است و در نهایت مهم‌ترین کاستی‌ها و موانع مطالعات حوزه‌ی علم‌سنجی و برخی راهکارهای مقابله با این مشکلات، به صورت طبقه‌بندی شده، در چهار مقوله‌ی زیر ارایه شده است:1.ضعف مبانی و فقدان پشتوانه‌ی محکم و عمیق نظری، فلسفی و معرفت‌شناختی؛2. مشکلات روش‌شناختی و دشواری‌های خاص حوزه‌ای مانند مسایل مربوط به استنادها و تحلیل استنادی؛3. آشفتگی و ابهام در واژگان و اصطلاح‌ شناسی؛ و4. محدودیت ابزارهای سنجش علم از جمله ISI در سنجش واقعی علم و تولیدات علمی.واژه‌های کلیدی: کتاب‌سنجی؛ استناد؛ نقد انتقادی.

One of the most important quantitative methods and research domains in library and information sciences is scientometrics and informatics, which has markedly developed over the last four decades. The Study in each one of the categories of this domain, need to more research and literatures review. Scientometrics applied in description, explanation and prediction of scientific situation of researchers, education and research groups, universities, organizations and countries in various national and international fields. Against the great success which has gained in this field, a lot of challenging obstacles and difficulties has been facing for researchers in mentioned fields.These challenges could be evaluated with different approaches. In this paper the positive and negative aspects of scientometrics studies have been analyzed using libraries method by a comprehensive and critical approach.The major obstacles have presented in four categories as follows:1. Limitation in Philosophical, epistemological and theoretical foundations;2. Methodological obstacles and specific difficulties of citations and citation analysis;3. Terminological chaos;4. Limitation of Scientometrics tools including the ISI in careful assessment of science.Keywords: Bibliometrics; Citation; Critical Review.
