چکیده

دسترسی آنی به اطلاعات سلامت افراد، در ارتقا سلامت فردی و عمومی شهروندان یک جامعه مؤثر است. چنانچه امکان دسترسی ‌بهنگام به اطلاعات سلامت افراد وجود نداشته باشد، جان بیمار به خطر می­افتد و احتمالاً عواقب نامطلوبی خواهد داشت. پراکندگی جغرافیایی مراکز مراقبت سلامت و یکپارچه نبودن سیستم­های اطلاعاتی باعث ازهم‌گسیختگی اطلاعات سلامت بیماران می­شود. امروزه تبادل اطلاعات سلامت و تعامل­پذیری داده­های ماشینی در بهبود مراقبت سلامت نقش مهمی دارد؛ زیرا اشتراک‌ داده­ها در سازمان­های مراقبت سلامت و مدیریت سلامت جامعه را تسهیل می­کند. این مقاله با جستجوی کلیدواژه‌ انگلیسی «تبادل اطلاعات سلامت» از سال 2004 میلادی تا سال 2014 میلادی در خلاصه مقاله، عنوان و کلیدواژه­های پایگاه اطلاعاتی Springer و Medline-PubMed تدوین‌شده است. درمجموع 52 مقاله مروری بازیابی شد. پس از بررسی عنوان مقالات بازیابی شده، 3 مقاله (به علت تکراری بودن) و 6 مقاله نامرتبط حذف شدند. سپس خلاصه مقالات باقیمانده بررسی و متن مقالات مرتبط استخراج شد. در ادامه با مراجعه به بخش Scholar موتور جستجوی Google مستندات تخصصی جامعه سیستم­های مدیریت و اطلاعات مراقبت سلامت (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) موردبررسی قرار گرفت. هدف از نگارش این مقاله مروری نقلی، تبیین مفهوم تبادل اطلاعات سلامت، راهبردها، سبک­ها و مدل‌های فنی و تشریح مزایای آن است. علاوه‌براین، موانع پیاده­سازی سیستم­های تبادل اطلاعات سلامت نیز به‌اجمال اشاره‌شده است.

An Introduction to Health Information Exchange: a Review Article

Instant access to individuals, health information is influential for the health promotion throughout the community in both personal and public domains. Patients’ lives endanger due to lack of timely access to their own health information and subsequently lead to adverse events. Patients’ health information fragmented due to either geographical distribution of health care organizations or lack of integrated information systems. Todays, Health information exchange systems facilitate data sharing among health care entities and improve health management through the community. This study was conducted in 2014, searching the literature using the term of “Health Information Exchange” in technical databases, including PubMed-MEDLINE and Springer during 2004-2014. Totally, 9 out of 52 retrieved articles were omitted as redundancy in both databases and irrelevancy. After that, the relevant abstracts were reviewed and their full texts were extracted. Additionally, Google search engine and especially scholar section were searched to obtain related literature, including library resources of Health Information and Management Systems Society. This review was aimed at explaining the essentials of health information exchange including the history, architectural strategies, common technical models and the advantages of being use of Health Information Exchange systems. Moreover, the barriers to the implementation of such systems were discussed.
