بررسی شبکه هم‌تألیفی پژوهشگران حوزه دندان‌پزشکی در دو پایگاه Web of Science و Scopus طی سال‌های 2011 تا 2015

چکیده
مقدمه: شبکه‌های هم‌تألیفی، از جمله شبکه‌های اجتماعی است که اطلاعات مهمی را در رابطه با همکاری میان پژوهشگران که از عوامل مهم رشد کیفی و کمی انتشارات علمی می‌باشد، فراهم می‌آورد. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، ترسیم و تحلیل شبکه هم‌تألیفی پژوهشگران دانشکده‌های دندان‌پزشکی شهر تهران در دو پایگاه Web of Science و Scopus طی سال‌های 2011 تا 2015 بود.روش بررسی: این مطالعه با استفاده از روش‌های علم‌سنجی و اصول تحلیل شبکه انجام شد. جامعه پژوهش را 803 مدرک در دو پایگاه Web of Science و Scopus تشکیل داد که طی سال‌های 2011 تا 2015 منتشر شده بود و حداقل یکی از نویسندگان آن‌ها، وابستگی سازمانی به دانشکده‌های دندان‌پزشکی علوم پزشکی شهر تهران داشت.یافته‌ها: بیشترین همکاری بین‌المللی با پژوهشگران کشورهای آمریکا، انگلستان و ترکیه مشاهده شد. شبکه هم‌تألیفی پژوهشگران متشکل از 60 گره (نویسنده) و درجه تراکم 028/0 بود. میانگین شاخص ضریب همکاری برای حوزه دندان‌پزشکی، 73/0 به دست آمد که نشان دهنده همکاری نویسندگان به صورت گروهی بود.نتیجه‌گیری: به نظر می‌رسد نتایج به دست آمده نمایانگر پژوهش‌های مشارکتی و افزایش در تولید کلی مقالات است و این همکاری در سطح مناسبی در حال رشد می‌باشد. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که پژوهشگران این حوزه از مزایای همکاری علمی آگاهی دارند.

A Survey on Co-authorship Network among the Researchers in the Field of Dentistry in Tehran City, Iran, in Thompson Reuter’s Web of Science, and Scopus Databases during 2011-2015

Introduction: Co-authorship network is a kind of social network that offers significant information about collaboration among authors, which is one of the most important factors of the qualitative and quantitative growth of the scientific publications. The results of this study can clarify the dimensions of collaboration in dental schools in Tehran City, Iran, between the years 2011 and 2015 based on the data in Thompson Reuter’s Web of Science and Scopus databases.Methods: The study was conducted through scientometrics method and social network analysis. The research community consisted of 802 documents indexed in the Scopus and Thompson Reuter’s Web of Science databases published in years 2011-2015.Results: The majority of collaborations made by Iranian researchers were with the authors from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Turkey. Co-authorship network of researchers consisted of 60 nodes (authors) and density degree of the network was 0.028. There was a strong linear correlation between the number of publications and degree centrality of authors at the level of 0.73.Conclusion: The results seem to indicate more collaborative research and an increase in the overall production of articles with this cooperation growing at an appropriate level. This suggests that researchers in this field are aware of the benefits of scientific cooperation.
