بررسی میزان استناد به مجلات انگلیسی ‏زبان علوم پزشکی ایران در ویکی‌پدیا

چکیده
مقدمه: با توجه به اهمیت تأثیر مجلات علمی بر دانش‌نامه‌های عمومی، هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، شناسایی میزان استناد به مجلات انگلیسی ‌زبان ایرانی حوزه علوم پزشکی مورد تأیید وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی در دانش‌نامه ویکی‌پدیا بود.روش بررسی: این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی بود که با روش تحلیل استنادی و فنون علم‌سنجی انجام شد. جامعه آماری تحقیق را 282 مجله‌ انگلیسی ‌زبان مورد تأیید وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی ایران تشکیل داد. عنوان هر یک از مجلات در دانش‌نامه ویکی‌پدیا مورد جستجو قرار گرفت. به منظور توصیف داده‌ها فراوانی و درصد گزارش گردید.یافته‌ها: از میان 282 مجله مورد تأیید وزارت بهداشت، درمان و آموزش پزشکی، 114 مجله از مقالات دانش‌نامه ویکی‌پدیا استناد دریافت کرده‌ بودند که این 114 مجله در مجموع 1091 استناد را به خود اختصاص دادند. همچنین، مجله Archives of Iranian Medicine با دریافت 97 استناد، بیشترین استناد را از ویکی‌پدیا دریافت کرده بود. مجلات حوزه موضوعی «حرفه پزشکی» بیشترین تعداد استناد را از ویکی‌پدیا دریافت کردند. از میان مقالات استنادکننده در ویکی‌پدیا، 412 مقاله به زبان انگلیسی منتشر شده بود که بیشترین سهم را در میان زبان‌های مقالات ویکی‌پدیا داشت. همچنین، در بین مقالات استنادکننده در ویکی‌پدیا، مقالات دارای طبقه‌بندی موضوعی گیاهان، بیشتر به مجلات وزارت بهداشت استناد کرده بودند.نتیجه‌گیری: مجلات حوزه علوم پزشکی با بهبود سیاست‌ها و تصمیمات خود می‌توانند نقش مهم‌تری در ویکی‌پدیا و دانش‌نامه‌های برخط به عنوان یک ابزار ترویج علم ایفا کنند و تأثیر اجتماعی و استنادی بیشتری داشته باشند. از این‌رو، متولیان و سیاست‌گذاران علوم پزشکی در کشور با توجه ‌بیشتر به رابطه بین دانشگاه‌ها و مجلات علمی با عموم مردم، به ترویج علم و تأثیرگذاری اجتماعی کمک می‌نمایند.

Citation Analysis of Iranian English-language Medical Journals in Wikipedia

چکیده English

Introduction: This study endeavored to investigate citations to the Iranian English medical journals in Wikipedia.Methods: This descriptive study was conducted based on citation analysis and scientometric techniques. The population included 282 English journals approved by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The full title, acronym, and abbreviated title of each journal were searched on Wikipedia and Google (site search), and data analysis was conducted through the Excel software.Results: Wikipedia articles cited to 114 journals were approved by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. These journals received 1091 citations. Among which, the journal of Archives of Iranian Medicine has received the most citations from Wikipedia articles. Journals in the field of medical profession received the most citations among journals approved by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Furthermore, 412 Wikipedia articles were in English. Among the Wikipedia articles, articles in the plant category have cited more to journals approved by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education.Conclusion: Iranian medical journals, by improving their popularization policies and strategies can be recognized internationally in terms of article citation and science popularization of science. In view of this, science policymakers should pay more attention to the relationship between universities and scientific journals with the public, especially Wikipedia, to generalize and popularize the science and scientific information.
